The first 60 photovoltaic (PV) panels in Timahoe have been successfully installed. Despite the recent weather challenges our dedicated team in contracting partners Voltalia persevered and accomplished this feat, marking a significant milestone in the project. The meticulous attention to detail in this test array will guarantee the reliability and efficiency of the entire solar array, contributing to a sustainable and eco-friendly future for Timahoe and the wider community.
Voltalia hs recently commenced site works at Timahoe North Solar Farm. This marks an important milestone for the project on what will be a busy construction period throughout the next year. Voltalia’s Civil Subcontractor, Wills Brothers have commenced construction of the site roads which will serve as important access points for the future solar arrays which will follow later in the construction period
International energy producer and service provider, Voltalia, has been contracted to carry out the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (“EPC”) contract of the solar farm over the next year
Works are ongoing at Timahoe Solar Farm. H&MV Engineering have been appointed Project Supervisor for the Construction Stage of the 110 kV substation. Their responsibilities encompass the civil and electrical design, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and energisation services required for the development of the 110 kV AIS Substation. This essential infrastructure will enable the smooth export of generated power from the solar farm, emphasizing our commitment to renewable energy
